Installation of a Teledyne Continental Motors Co. O-300-A crankshaft, P/N 530860, equipped with an O-300-D cluster
gear, P/N 627846, in an O-300-D engine. Incorporation of this modification does not alter the O-300-D engine
limitations in any way and does not require any modification of or additions to the existing placards. This modification is
to permit the installation of propellers requiring an SAE No. 3 propeller flange. No installation data are required.

Note: The O-300-D cluster gear, P/N 627846, must be installed to allow the angle drive starter to engage properly.

Limitations and Conditions:
1) The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.
2) If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this Certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other
person written evidence of that permission.
This certificate and the supporting data which is the basis for approval shall remain in effect until surrendered, suspended, revoked or a termination date is otherwise established by the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration.
